I have known for a while that Thrill Kill Kult and Lords of Acid were playing at GZ
I have also known that I was playing GZ in August
Unfortunately, it didn’t occur to go flyer the show until umm…….9:30pm
That’s when I saw SJ post a picture of the line outside of GZ
“Wow, I thought to myself, that sure is a lot of people just sitting in one place. Too bad I’m not flyering there”
That’s when I decided I was not going to regret not flyering by hauling my ass to the uptown Kinkos and printing out 200 sheets of 4 part handbills
I quickly cut them up and headed for GZ
I started to notice the additional buzz of adrenaline and remembered what it felt like to be excited to be going out and interacting with people
Thankfully, I walked right up as Chuck was at the door
He let me in and I started han...

I am not one to shy away from telling almost everything to the people who read my blogs but I try to make sure to keep some things to myself
I may tell you a story that makes my ex girlfriend cry when she reads it but then I can’t tell you things most would find trivial but I find very personal
Seeing a therapist has caused me to take my emotional well being very seriously and it has caused me to pay attention
Because of this newfound enthusisam for fixing myself, I have accomplished some goals that I knew I could and some I didn’t
I try not to be too self congratualtory but here’s what I have accomplished in the last 2 months after seeing a therapist:
-Confirmed gig at Ground Zero Aug 27th, one in the works for Zombie Pub Crawl
– New memeber of PyroPlasticFlow as well as mallet percussio...
Just found a really cool feature on Windows movie Maker.
Evidently, you can overlap two clips
Already using it for the next barrage edit
Off to Markos BBQ

They have all been the same
You don’t have to study the manual or any of that shit, you just have to use common sense when answering the questions
You’ll get a couple wrong (mostly the ones dealing with space or time incraments) but you’ll pass
I just failed my Minnesota driver’s test
Here are some of the answers I got wrong
And I paraphrasing because I didn’t really take notes
“If you are about to turn left and there is oncoming traffic on a two way street you should”
A- Signal at least 50 feet from the intended turn
B- Nonsensical answer you know is wrong
C- 2nd nonsensical answer
D- Come to a cpmplete stop and keep your wheels pointed forward
Believe it or not the fucking ans...
Read MoreI don’t believe in Extra Sensory Perception in the terms that most people do
The ability to see into the future, read people’s minds etc…. is not really credible with me
But the thing I do believe in is a hightened perception
There are people with a gift for observation that can use their gift to succeed at politics and business as well as artistic and literary success
Hell, most guys that can pick up a girl in a bar have it
It is the ability to percieve the details of a certain thing, be it visual, aural or intellectual and exploit it
Myperception is what makes me uniqe and allows me to make such unique art
Unfortunately, it is also what fuels my anxiety and keeps me from succeeding
The ability to pick apart a subject into fragments can be a bad thing as well when it comes to your fears

I was watching WWE Raw on Youtube last night at about 1:30 am when I heard yelling outside
I figured it was just our neighbors breaking up again like they seem to do every other week but this was not the case
There was a flashlight and a dog barking and very angry words
That’s when I realized that the cops were arresting someone
I decided not to poke my head out the windo wand watch
Especially when the cop car on the street flashed his search light right into my window
It was over in less than 5 minutes and the guy along with all but one cop car was gone
I looked out the window again and he hit me with the spotlight again
I felt intimidated
After 25 years of not going to the doctor, I have gotten myself on the state run MinnesotaCare health program
Having spent most of my adulthood as a broke ass musician in Texas, it has been very hard to get health insurance
You usually need a full time job and even then, the insurance was so expensive that it was intimidating
This pretty much put a fiscal barrier between me and healthcare that turned into an emotional one as well
I was so intimidated by the complexity of the system, the high cost each month and the huge deductables that I just convinced myself that I would have to live without insurance
After all, I was going to die young anyways right?
Credit Laura for building a fire under my ass
She sat on the phone with me while I filled out the applications and didn’t let me give up...
